Another fabulous day at LKCC for the WA Pharmacy Guild Cup at Perth’s premier course. The winner this year was Stephen Leggat using some local knowledge no doubt. Also had the $5000 AFT Pharmaceuticals Hole In One competition which unlike last year was not won … maybe 2023! Another Cohesive Finance putting competition was also held with Nick Partridge again using local knowledge to hole his putt & lock in the wine!

Registrations are now open for the ACGA 2023 being held in the Mornington Penisula, Victoria from 19th to 24th March 2023. We will be playing on 5 fabulous Mornington Penisula courses & staying at the highly regarded RACV Resort, Cape Schanck.

We now turn our attention to another year of Pharmacy Golf!
Whilst many members would still be enjoying the New Year break, our first event is not so far away, but excuse me for any interruption.
The 2022 program is still being finalised and what effect the border opening will have on our tour, one cannot speculate.
Nedlands on Tuesday, 1st of February will open the year program.
Previously a 9 hole twilight event, we have resorted to an early afternoon tee-off at 1:30 pm – 18 holes, followed by finger food.
Booking details will be sent shortly, but please diarise this date now.
Given border openings will have an impact on health, this game becomes more important to be part of.
I should also note that Nedlands will require every player to be double vaccinated on course and in clubhouse areas.

Some 48 golfers teed up to play in the annual Stirling Fildes Cup at Mt Lawley GC in beautiful conditions matched with the course that was in superb condition.
Mr Ken Brandwood brought the course to its knees with a fine 40 pt win. Well done Kenny!
The team from Cohesive Finance, Julie & Mike, hosted the putting competition with Don Langsford holeing the putt to take out the prize.

The Walker Wayland 2021 Championships were decided on the 30th of November following the results of the Stirling Fildes Cup. We were joined by Jane Chiang representing Walker Wayland to present the 2021 Champions with their Cups & prizes
It was a fitting tribute to Rod Watts to be given Life Membership to the WAPGC at this year’s final dinner event. A well-deserved recognition of the service & participation in the WAPGC over many years.

It was a blustery & wet day that greeted the 39 golfers who turned out for the Wholesaler’s Cup at Joondalup Resort GC. After the briefing, the rain cleared only leaving the wind to contend with. Scores were in the most at the lower end of the scale however Roly Hill managed to rise above the climatic challenges to win the individual Stableford day.
For the Wholesaler’s Cup “The Bodlovich Jug” the Team Symbion amassed enough points to wrest the jug from Sigma’s grasp for the 2021 event. Well done Symbion.
